In this Full version of the show, Gus and Mike cover Gus’s recent show on ABC ‘Man Up’ – One Man’s mission to save Aussie Blokes.

We dive into how Gus’s life and conversations have changed now that he’s brought the topic of men opening up and being vulnerable into the public eye. This then leads into where, when and how Gus has taken needed action for him to address the big issues in his own life, including seeing a therapist.

We hear Gus share around recognising when he needs to share what’s going on with him from an unprompted place – sometimes the hardest thing for guys to do.

Gus shares his take on the difference between mates and friends – knowing the guys who he can and will go deep with, and call on any bullshit, and those who are there for the banter and that’s about it. This takes us into how he handles the chat that goes against his values.

We dive into how we redefine the term ‘Man Up’, and with the vulnerability, and how he is doing so to set an example for others to follow. Namely his 16 year old son.
This was a great chat with someone so passionately diving into this crucial conversation in a public way.
